FTIDC Region

The FTIDC Regional Center encompasses a three-county region encompassing Collin, Dallas and Denton Counties. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the 2015 projected population for these three-counties combined is is 4.1 million, with Dallas County having the largest population at 2.4 million.

Today, this regional center includes a population of more than 3.8 million. That is more than 15% of the state’s population.

The current average household income is $79,998, compared to $70,173 for all U.S. households. The FTIDC has a labor force of just over 70.6%, with management, business, and science and arts occupations having the largest percentage of employment.
